So this is the kind of music we are thinking of for
the reception...something really fun...this sort of jazz
was very popular in the 20s.....

A Very Important Date

alas, after much conversation and phone calls back and forth to mom, we think? we have a date. so-mark those calenders. for now.
the temple date is thursday, august 12 at 11 a.m. it is going to be at the redlands temple which is actually quite lovely. every temple within a hundred mile radius is closed in august. go figure. except! the redlands temple. i know its a bit of a drive but i am excited none the less. and the reception is going to be the next day, august 13 from 7-10. we wanted a night-time party. so bring your dancing shoes.

A possibility for my suit? I love how it looks...a little modern/victorian velvet jacket and slacks..the bow tie is awesome...hat, or no hat? Hmmmm...

We wanted some place that would suit our personalities, and the things that we love. We both love Victorian, vintage, 1920s Americana...so we've been looking for a place that would fit those categories.
This is the Camarillo Ranch House, and it is the perfect place for our reception!
Actually...we will have the reception here, inside the Ranch's big red barn...

(Also, Molly loves horses......)

happy feat

we are so getting down with this at the wedding.

I love you the more in that I believe you had liked me for my own sake and for nothing else.- John Keats

this photo was taken near my little cottage in santa cruz. i love how the light peaks through the trees and the happiness that can be seen in both our eyes, even though there closed.

RIngs of Marriage

The artist Wilheml Steil did this painting which I find hilarious. He has a couple really funny paintings that are full of wit and dark, dry humor(all the things I love.)

The Two Paths

I think this poster describes me perfectly: precariously balancing a fine line of contradictions. Isn't it hard to be me.
